Developmental Intervention
Developmental Intervention Services are provided for children ages birth to three who have been identified with developmental disabilities through the First Steps system and have been referred to Carriage House. These services are provided in the child's home or child care setting or through a group in the 2 year old classroom at Carriage House Preschool. Children must be enrolled in First Steps to receive this service.
Developmental Intervention Services are also available for children in the two, three, and four year old classrooms at Carriage House. This is a direct service provided in the classrooms by Carriage House Developmental Interventionists. The cost of this service is $65.00 per hour.

Therapeutic Social Group
This small group is designed to provide each enrolled child with ongoing assessment, direct intervention, and social time with peers to promote appropriate social interactions and understanding of social games and activities within the classroom setting . Certified Developmental Interventionists will provide assessment and develop strategies for implementation during individual and group time. The Early Start Denver Model Curriculum Checklist for Children with Autism (ESDM) or the Carolina Curriculum for Preschoolers with Special Needs (CCPSN) will be utilized to document progress. Children may attend one to three afternoons each week from 1:00 to 3:30pm. This program is available year round. The cost of the program will be $75.00 per 2 1/2 hour session and is payable on a monthly basis in advance.

Afternoon Preschool
This program will offer a structured atmosphere, where your child will enjoy a small group (6-8 children) preschool environment facilitated by a certified preschool teacher and an assistant. The program is designed to help preschool children who benefit from the smaller group environment to work on their cognitive and fine motor skills, and social interactions while enjoying a wide variety of sensory, large motor and preschool activities.
The afternoon preschool is available for ages 2 through 4 and is in session from 1:00 to 3:30pm. Each classroom operates 3 afternoons per week year round. The cost for the program is $114.00 per week and is payable in advance on a monthly basis.
Summer Programs
Carriage House provides summer programs for children ages 2-5 years who need a small structured environment to retain skills learned throughout the school year. Sessions are from 9am to 12pm. There are six children in a classroom with a certified teacher and an assistant. Children may attend from 2 to 5 sessions a week. The cost for the program is $78.00 per week for 2 mornings to $180.00 per week for 5 mornings and is payable in advance on a monthly basis.
